A total of 385 policemen assigned to the Batangas Police Provincial Police Office received their booster shot as part of the measure to increase the protection of the local police force against the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

Cansilao said the move is in response to the guideline set by the Department of Health for all fully-vaccinated individuals to get booster shot at least three months after the second dose.

“We need to ensure the protection of our men as frontliners in the government response to COVID-19,” said Cansilao.
