PAL cancels more flights

Philippine Airlines has cancelled more flights as it struggled to sustain full operations with more quarantined frontline and support personnel unable to report for work.

“We are taking the precaution of cancelling a number of PAL flights, even as our PAL teams do all we can to maintain as many other flights as possible, process all passenger requests and relieve the longer call waiting times and ticket office queues,” according to the flag carrier in a statement, Monday, Jan. 10.

Based on its advisory, PAL cancelled the following domestic flights:

Still, “This is a very fluid situation,” according to the airline. “We may need to cancel more flights or make other operational adjustments in the coming days.”
