OhmyV33nus revealed in his stream Sunday night that he and Wise together with the entire Blacklist Sibol roster will be gunning for the spot in the Hanoi Games before the dynamic duo go for a one-season hiatus in the professional scene.

The V33wise tandem, MPL PH S8 MVP Salic “Hadji” Imam and two players yet to be named will compose Blacklist’s roster for the Sibol qualifier with Kristoffer “Bon Chan” Ricaplaza still at the helm.

The next few weeks will be a busy one for Blacklist as the team tries to build its chemistry especially with its two new additions who are filling in for teen stars Edward “EDWARD” Dapadap and M3 World Championship MVP Kiel “Oheb” Soriano. The two will miss the Sibol qualifiers as the event will only be open to players 18 years old and above due to age restrictions set by the Vietnam organizing committee.

“Medyo kaunti yung time ng preparation naming but it is what it is we have to maximize the time that we have lalo na’t dalawa yung bago naming yung gold lane and the exp lane so we really need to grind,” said OhmyV33nus.

“Starting tomorrow until the Sibol qualifiers, magiging busy kami uli ni Wise then hopefully makuha natin yung slot sa Sibol kasi I really, really want the Sibol,” he added.

OhmyV33nus was actually close at representing the country in the SEA Games in 2019 as he became part of the national team training pool. ‘The Queen’ however didn’t make the cut.

“I almost had the chance to represent PH din for the Sibol and parang ang sarap balikan na kasi di ba last time nakapasok rin kami ng training pool ng Sibol pero sobrang kulang pa ako ng experience, ng confidence, ng everything and almost andun na ako para irepresent yung PH kaso marami pa kasi talagang kulang,” the Blacklist shot-caller recalled.

The 2019 Sibol lineup that featured the core players of the M2 World Champion team of Bren Esports then went on to bag the gold medal in the Mobile Legends event.

Now a two-time MPL titlist and M3 World Champion, the veteran midlaner/support felt now is the perfect time for him to finally don the national tri-colors in the biennial meet.

“I think it’s the perfect time talaga para makipagshampoohan uli for the Sibol. Iniba lang nila yung process for the Sibol but hopefully maachieve natin at makuha natin ang qualifiers,” he added.
