K-pop band NCT dominates monthly album chart for January with 'Resonance Pt. 2'

K-pop boy band NCT grabbed first place on the monthly physical album chart in January with “Resonance Pt. 2.”

According to South Korea’s Hanteo Chart, NCT’s “Resonance Pt. 2” Departure version sold 268,788 copies for the month of January to place first on the chart.

The album’s Arrival version garnered 402,652 copies in sales in the first week of release from Nov. 30 to Dec. 6, 2020.

Placing second on the monthly chart is Treasure’s “The First Step: Treasure Effect,” released on Jan. 11, which sold 218,349 copies.

Third is TVXQ member Yunho’s “Noir,” released on Jan. 18, which accumulated 156,318 copies in sales followed by girl group (G)I-DLE’s “I Burn” with 134,447 copies and Cravity’s “Season 3. Hideout: Be Our Voice” with 82,678 copies.

Here are Hanteo’s top 20 albums for the month of January 2021:
