Blacklist International, Nexplay Esports and Team Secret all initiated their respective efforts to raise funds and in-kind donations for the victims of the typhoon.

Blacklist co-owner and Tier One executive Tryke “TryQ” Gutierrez had earlier decided to give the portion of their M3 World Championship prize for the relief efforts for the victims of Odette. Tier One, Blacklist’s mother organization, already went to the affected areas and distributed the goods to the residents.

“It's amazing to see how they can smile despite the situation they are in. I just feel so blessed that we're in a position to help in situations like this,” captioned TryQ as he posted photos of residents receiving their packed relief goods in Malitbog and Padre Burgos in Southern Leyte.

Likewise, Nexplay, the mother organization of the Nexplay Evos team in the MPL Philippines, also had their own relief drive led by its top executive Gabriel Benito, influencer and Mobile Legends icon Setsuna “AkosiDogie” Ignacio and Ronald Chan.

“Together with the collaborative efforts and donations of friends from esports and other industries, we were able to extend help and support to the victims. We encourage everyone to help those in need in this time of adversity. Together, let's revive the Bayanihan spirit!” said Nexplay in a post.

Team Secret, a Europe-based esport organization which also handles all-Filipino squads in Valorant and LoL: Wild Rift, also did their share in the efforts to help not just the victims of Typhoon Odette in the Philippines, but also the affected people of the recent volcanic eruptions in Indonesia, with a charity stream last Thursday, Dec 23.

Its Filipino players in Team Secret Wild Rift team Robert “Trebor” Mansilungan and Elezar “Azar” Salle and Valorant team Riley “Witz” Go and Jim “BORKUM” Timbreza all participated in the stream. All of the proceeds went to charity organizations for natural disaster victim relief campaigns in the Philippines, Malaysia and Indonesia.
