Philippine Coast Guard thanks Gerald Anderson for donations

The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) couldn't be more thankful, with Gerald Anderson personally handing to them his donations to victims of Typhoon Odette.

On Facebook, they gave a special shout-out to the actor who is also Auxiliary Commander of the PCG-Auxiliary.

They wrote: "MARAMING SALAMAT, AUXILIARY COMMANDER GERALD ANDERSON!

According to the post, Gerald gave out sacks of rice and boxes of purified drinking water to the BRP Gabriela Silang (OPV-8301).

The said patrol vessel is going to Western Visayas and Northeastern Mindanao.

This is not the first time that Gerald extended his helping hand.

In past months, he and girlfriend Julia Barretto have been actively participating in numerous charity efforts.
