Well, there are many new food and spirit flavor combos that are happening right now. But chocolates with wine, that seems to be a pretty classic one.

Barefoot x Oreo Thins Red Blend Wine

Oreo and Barefoot wine are taking this flavor fusion to the next level as they released limited-edition wines that incorporate the taste of the iconic black-and-white cookie, last Dec. 9, 2021, and are now sold out.

“Everyone knows that red wine pairs well with chocolate, but Oreo Thins and America’s most-loved wine, BarefootWine, are collaborating to take this classic combination to a whole new delicious level,” Oreo brand manager Sydney Kranzmann told Thrillist.

The Barefoot x Oreo Thins Red Blend package contained two bottles of wine and a package of Oreo Thins. According to Delish, the red wine has subtle notes of the cookies, especially on the aroma, with flavors of chocolate, creme, oak, blackberry, and dark cherries rounding the whole experience.

While many “chocaholics” are raving about this spirited concoction, with some calling it "surprisingly filling." Others would still prefer to dunk their Oreos in milk, saying it is an “unfit for pairing with any conceivable meal.
