COVID-19 active cases in Bulacan down to 138

The Provincial Health Office (PHO) in Bulacan on Thursday, Dec. 9, reported that COVID-19 active cases in Bulacan continue to decline.

The PHO said that of the recorded 138 COVID-19 active cases, 13 are admitted in the hospitals, 28 are in a Temporary Treatment and Monitoring Facility, while 97 are under home isolation.

Out of the total of 91,781 COVID-19 confirmed cases in the province, 90,183 or 98 percent have recovered.

There were two new reported deaths, bringing the total number of COVID-19 fatalities to 1,460.

Gov. Daniel R. Fernando said the decline in the number of COVID-19 cases in Bulacan does not mean that the province and its people should relax in its observance of health protocols “because the virus is still around.” Fernando ordered the Bulacan police, as well as the city and municipal health offices in the province, to enforce the minimum public health standards and convince those who are still unvaccinated to get their COVID-19 jabs.
