PAL boosts domestic flights

Philippine Airlines (PAL) is boosting flights across its domestic route network this month to cater to increasing demand.

PAL Spokesperson Cielo Villaluna told Manila Bulletin that in Luzon, the flag carrier is gradually reopening flights its Basco service via four flights this December.

In the Visayas, PAL will ramp up its flights between Manila and Iloilo from 9 to 14 flights weekly, effective December 10, while flights between Manila and Bacolod will increase from 7 to 14 flights weekly, effective December 16.

At present, PAL mounts 8 daily flights between Manila and Cebu versus 5 daily flights in November.

The flag carrier flies twice daily from Manila to Tagbilaran and twice weekly from Davao to Tagbilaran.

From Iloilo, PAL passengers can fly to Cebu, Davao and General Santos.

In Mindanao, PAL's Manila - Zamboanga - Manila frequency is now at 6 flights weekly while Manila-Davao-Manila is now at 28 flights weekly.

Flights on the Manila-GenSan-Manila route is now at 7 flights weekly.
