Presidential aspirant Vice President Leni Robredo could not help but laugh after a supporter commented that she might have an “idol” for going live on Facebook at midnight.
“Pasensya na kayo. Binibiro ako dito na may idol daw ako kasi gabi ako nagfe-Facebook Live. Hating gabi nagfe-Facebook Live pero pasensya na kayo (I’m sorry. Someone joking here that I have an idol because I go on Facebook Live at night. I’m on Facebook Live at midnight but I’m sorry),” she said as she burst into laughter during a live session on Facebook on Monday night, Dec. 6.
Though she didn’t mention his name, President Duterte is known for his weekly late-night Talk to the People. He once mentioned that he is a night owl, which is why it was easier for him to work late in the evening.
His weekly public addresses, though, are pre-recorded as opposed to Robredo’s live interaction with her followers.

The Vice President has been going live on Facebook every night since last week, greeting followers and supporters alike. She’s answering light questions and explaining what went on during the day.
Robredo is currently in Baguio to visit supporters and volunteers, as well as to attend her staff’s wedding there on Tuesday.
The video, which so far garnered 498 retweets, 205 quote tweets, and 4,223 likes, has been making the rounds among the presidential hopeful’s supporters.
Her supporters’ reaction range from finding laugh “cute” to complimenting her teeth.
One of her supporters said such light-hearted moment is the exact reason why he likes Robredo to be president.
