The Grammy-winning rapper is bringing the heat to your fast-food dining
Fast-food chain and superstar collaborations are proving to be a hit dish in today’s fast dining scene. We’ve seen it in the success of McDonald’s BTs Meal and locally through Jollibee’s Bea Alonzo-John Lloyd Cruz tandem comeback. This time, a Grammy winner is bringing the fire to your fast food favorites, and that is none other than American rapper Megan Thee Stallion.
In October, the “Hot Girl Summer” singer collaborated with American food chain Popeyes, showcasing a special sauce that matches her personality. Dubbed the “Hottie Sauce,” the sauce brings the heat with the help of honey, cider vinegar, Aleppo pepper, and Louisiana-made, cayenne-pepper-based Crystal hot sauce.
“I’m appreciative of Popeyes’ commitment to empowering Black women and look forward to opening Popeyes restaurants,” Megan said in a press release. “Teaming up with Popeyes is such a milestone in my journey and evolution as an entrepreneur. I’ve always been a fan of the Popeyes brand and I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to join the brand and help create the new Megan Thee Stallion Hottie Sauce for their line-up.”
According to an Instagram post by Popeyes PH, the #MeganTheeStallionHottieSauce will be available locally on Dec. 8, 2021. As for other merch, we have to wait for further announcements.
