Two teenagers allegedly involved in a robbery-hold-up incident were arrested by the police in an operation conducted in Brgy. Toro, Quezon City, on Friday, Dec. 3.

Police Lt. Col. Alexander Barredo, Quezon City Police District (QCPD) Station 3 (PS 3) commander, identified the suspects as Lester Gonzales, 19, and Joshua Gomez, 18, both from Brgy. Bagbag, Quezon City.

The PS 3 immediately conducted a follow-up operation on the report of Michelle Gallardo, 32, who was victimized by the suspects, which led to the suspects’ arrest at the corner of Mindanao Avenue and Road 20, in Brgy. Toro, at around 2 a.m.

Michelle was waiting for a ride home when the suspects, who were riding a black motorcycle, declared a holdup, the QCPD said.

Seized from the suspects were three cell phones, a bladed weapon, and the motorcycle that was used as a getaway vehicle.

The suspects are facing robbery charges and violation of Republic Act 11235, the “Motorcycle Crime Prevention Act.”
