Ray Parks Jr. and the Nagoya Diamond Dolphins settled for a split of their two-game series with the Shimane Susanoo Magic after a 94-86 home loss Sunday, Dec. 5 in Japan’s B.League.

Parks had 13 points on 4-of-9 shooting with two rebounds, three assists and two steals but the Diamond Dolphins dropped to 9-7 after the match held at Dolphins Arena for a share of fourth place in the East division.

Nagoya took the first game, 82-73, the other day with Parks scoring 20.

Matthew Aquino played just three minutes in the Shinshu Brave Warriors’ 83-61 defeat to the Utsunomiya Brex at the Wing Arena in Nagano.

The Brave Warriors also dropped to 9-7 in the East after being swept in their own two-game set with the Brex, who last season made the B.League finals.

Javi Gomez de Liano and the Ibaraki Robots fell short in their upset bid against the defending champion Chiba Jets, 111-103.

Gomez de Liano scored four points and grabbed one rebound in almost 13 minutes for the Robots, who dropped to 2-14.

His younger brother Juan didn’t play in Earthfriends Tokyo Z’s vengeful 83-64 win over the Aomori Wat’s in the second division.

Tokyo Z improved to 3-16 while Aomori, with Kemark Carino benched for the second straight time, dropped to 2-17.
