Students in 28 Metro Manila schools join their counterparts in 149 other schools from other parts of the Philippines in limited face-to-face classes starting Monday, Dec. 6, 2021.

This, as the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) scenario continued to get better with its 12th straight day of less than 1,000 new infections at 603, and the national vaccination program expected to be reach more Filipinos with the government planning to allow walk-ins in the second ‘Bayanihan, Bakunahan’ vaccination drive.

Cold, nippy weather persists in places like Baguio and Manila as the northwest monsoon, or the ‘amihan’, continued to move through Luzon and the Visayas.
