The Zamboanga fair is already the eighth edition of the RTF being hosted by the TPB, the marketing arm of the Department of Tourism (DOT), following the success of the hybrid edition in Tacloban City last August amid the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic.

With the tagline #OnceAgainZamPen, the travel fair aims to showcase the full colors of Mindanao, as well as the entire region's best products and tourism offerings in the event which will run until Dec. 5.

Opening the four-day hybrid travel fair last Dec. 2 was the webinar session which featured tourism officials and stakeholders who led discussions on updates in the region's tourism industry and coping in the "new normal."

A whole-day hybrid travel exchange or business-to-business (B2B) sessions between local sellers and buyers will also take place during the event to expand networks and compound the best travel and tourism-related practices aligned with the health and safety protocols for a safe travel experience for domestic travelers.

The highlight of the fair will be the two-day hybrid business-to-consumer (B2C) activities aimed at scoring huge deals through live selling of domestic tour packages, native handicrafts, accessories, and food items among others.

Interested travelers are welcome to join the yearend travel fair for free at the RTF website at www.rtf2021.tpb.gov.ph where they can access tourism webinars, book future trips, and score huge travel discounts.
