With so much still unknown about the Omicron coronavirus disease (COVID-19) variant, the government is not taking any chances and has set new testing quarantine rules for arriving passengers coming from counties not listed under the “red list”.

 Six Filipino fishermen who have been stranded in China for the last six months have finally been repatriated to the country.

And as education goes back to full swing, 177 more schools are also set to conduct limited face-to-face classes, according to the Department of Education (DepEd).
