Ticket bought in Manila wins P16-M Lotto 6/42 jackpot

A solo bettor from Manila bagged the P16-million jackpot for Lotto 6/42, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) on Friday, Nov. 26, announced.

In an advisory, PCSO said the bettor guessed the winning combination 38 - 41 - 21 - 28 - 02 - 13 for Lotto 6/42 with a jackpot prize of 16,037,716.20 during the draw on Thursday night, Nov. 25.

PCSO said that the ticket was bought in the city of Manila, Metro Manila.

Based on the summary of winners, there were 34 bettors who won second prize and will each receive P24,000. These winners correctly guessed five out of the six-digit winning combination.

PCSO said that the winner needs to go to the its main office in Mandaluyong City and present the winning ticket along with two valid identification cards to claim the prize.

Pursuant to the TRAIN Law, PCSO said prizes that are above P10,000 will be subjected to 20 percent tax.

PCSO also reminded the public that the prizes which were not claimed within one year from date of draw will also be considered as “forfeited” based on the Republic Act No. 1169.

Meanwhile, there were no winners for Super Lotto 6/49 with a jackpot prize of P27,444,921.80. The winning combination was 45 - 27 - 01 - 20 - 39 - 16.
