Beau Belga will remain a member of the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters after the veteran big man agreed to a two-year extension.

The Elasto Painters announced the deal Friday, Nov. 26, making Belga the fourth player to ink a new deal since the end of the PBA Philippine Cup.

Terms of the deal were not revealed but sources said Belga will receive the maximum monthly salary of P420,000 per month plus perks and bonuses.

Belga has been an integral figure since joining Rain or Shine in 2011, helping the team win the 2012 Governors’ Cup and 2016 Commissioner’s Cup titles.

He averaged 9.1 points, 5.9 rebounds and 3.0 assists for the Elasto Painters in 13 games during the All-Filipino tourney which saw ROS lose to Magnolia Pambansang Manok.

ROS had earlier signed Rey Nambatac, Norbert Torres and rookie Anton Asistio to new deals as part of its buildup for the season-ending Governors’ Cup.

Former NBA player and veteran PBA import Henry Walker will reinforce the team for the Governors’ Cup which could start a few weeks after all teams have their foreign players in town.
