Aksyon Demokratiko senatorial candidates Carl Balita and Jopet Sison tested negative for illegal drugs on Friday, Nov. 26.

The two Aksyon candidates took their drug test at the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) headquarters in Quezon City.

Balita and Sison are the latest candidates to undergo drug tests.

Meanwhile, Aksyon standard bearer and presidential candidate Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso and his running mate Dr. Willie Ong also tested negative for illegal drugs on Thursday, Nov. 25.

We followed the example of our president and vice president because we want to prove that we aren’t only speaking against drug use, but that we also do not use drugs),” said Balita.

Yung may matitinong pag-iisip na hindi maimpluwensya ng droga (The proliferation of illegal drugs is a big problem in the Philippines so we want for our public servants, our candidates, to really fight against drugs. They should be of sound mind who cannot be influenced by drugs),” added Sison.
