COVID-19 vaccines given in Mandaluyong breach 960,000 mark


The number of COVID-19 vaccines deployed in Mandaluyong City has already breached the 960,000 mark, the local government announced on Wednesday, Nov. 24.

According to the report of the City Health Office (CHO), a total of 960,961 vaccines have been deployed in Mandaluyong.

The CHO said 510,607 residents have received their first dose and 462,849 have been fully vaccinated.

It added that 3,604 health care workers, senior citizens, and persons with comorbidities have received their booster shots.

The country started the deployment of booster shots for health workers last week, targeting to cover the more than one million medical frontliners before the year ends.

The booster shot rollout for senior citizens and persons with comorbidities started on Nov. 22.
