PCW set to kick off activities for 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women

The Philippine Commission on Women (PCW) enjoined the public to participate in the virtual kick off ceremony of the 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women on Thursday, Nov. 25.

The campaign is in support of the national government’s goal of protecting the human rights of women and girls by upholding its commitment to address all forms of gender-based violence.

Along with the campaign kick off, other activities for the "Sana All Spaces Safe" online campaign, Safe Spaces Pledge, and Let’s Make this a Safe Space ground campaign will also be announced.

The virtual campaign will be held on Thursday, Nov. 25, at 1-3 p.m. (Philippine Standard Time), said the government’s primary policy-making and coordinating body on women and gender equality. (Charie Mae F. Abarca)
