“Under this partnership, the DOST NCR will introduce and infuse science, technology, and innovation-based solutions to the communities adopted by the NCRPO SIBOL,” DOST Secretary Fortunato T. de la Peña said during his weekly report on Friday, Nov. 19.

“The NCRPO’s SIBOL Program will focus on project areas such as community organizing, skills development training, livelihood assistance, job and employment opportunities, basic services, youth development and educational assistance, health and medical assistance, and barangay caravan.”

The MOU was signed by DOST-NCR Regional Director Jose B. Patalinjug III, and PNP-NCRPO Regional Director Police Major General Vicente D. Danao Jr.
