Alliance for Isko Movement pledges full support for Aksyon Demokratiko slate


The Alliance for Isko Movement (AIM) was officially designated as the multi-sectoral arm of Manila Mayor Francisco "Isko Moreno" Domagoso's Aksyon Demokratiko party.

Aksyon Demokratiko standard bearer Domagoso and AIM president Freddie Go signed the Memorandum of Cooperation at the Manila City Hall this week.

AIM said it pledged its support for Domagoso with the belief that he can effectively lead the country especially in this challenging times.

“Kami ay naniniwala sa kakayahan, kagalingan at karanasan ni Mayor Isko Moreno bilang isang lider na nararapat lamang na maging Pangulo ng ating bansa (We believe in the ability, competence, and experience of Mayor Isko Moreno as a leader who deserves to be the President of our country),” Go said.

Domagoso, meanwhile, expressed his gratitude to AIM and encouraged its members to convince more Filipinos to support his presidential bid as well as his running mate Dr. Willie Ong and the Aksyon Demokratiko senatorial bets.

Also present during the signing were Aksyon Demokratiko chairperson Ernest Ramel, AIM chairman Bong Ignacio, conveners, officers, and chapter coordinators of the sectoral alliance group.

AIM is a volunteer group made up of individuals and organizations supporting Domagoso's “Buhay at Kabuhayan” agenda.

Several groups also expressed their support for Domagoso's candidacy, including the Cebu-based PRIMO-ISKO (President Isko Moreno - Isulong ang Serbisyo sa Katawhan nga Organisado), Kapampangans for Isko, Isko Northern Alliance (INA), Seniors para kay Isko, Isko Tayo Kabataan (ITK), the Cordillera People’s Liberation Army (CPLA), Pilipinas God First United Bangsamoro Isko for President (PGFUBIP) coalition, Muntinlupa Isko Supporters, Truck Drivers of the Philippines Party List, and the Federation of Quezon City Tricycle Operators and Drivers Association.
