The Pasay City government distributed UV lights and medical kits to all public schools in the city in preparation for the face-to-face classes in the National Capital Region (NCR).

Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano said the city government provided the UV lights and medical kits as additional health and safety measures in rooms and other school facilities.

She added that the city government wants to ensure the protection of the children as well as the teachers and non-teaching personnel against the COVID-19 once the normal face-to-face classes begin.

The city government will conduct the pilot face-to-face classes at P. Zamora Elementary School.

It was learned that only 45 students will be accommodated for the pilot run of the face-to-face classes. They will be divided into two shifts with three hours per session.
