Gat Andres Bonifacio Medical Center (GABMC) in Manila will temporarily limit the number of patients who will be admitted to its emergency room starting Nov. 16.

GABMC Director Dr. Teodoro Martin announced the decision in a memo released on Nov. 15.

Specifically, medicine, OB-Gyne, and pediatric departments will have limited admission in order to decongest the total number of patients.

In the memo, Martin asked the directors of five other Manila district hospitals to accommodate patients who may be transferred from GABMC.

The five other hospitals are Sta. Ana Hospital, Ospital ng Maynila, Justice Jose Abad Santos General Hospital, Ospital ng Sampaloc, and Ospital ng Tondo.
