After breakup announcement, Alodia Gosiengfiao says: 'Things are not meant to be'

Online content creator and gamer-cosplayer Alodia Gosiengfiao hopes that there would be no more questions about her love life following her split announcement with longtime partner, vlogger Wil Dasovich.

During her recent live on Facebook today, Nov. 15, she assured her fans that she's doing well.

"Don't worry guys, I'm okay."

Asked if they could have another "comeback," she just said: "We don't know. Naka ilang comeback na kasi. Things happen for a reason, I guess. Pag hindi talaga, not meant to be."

According to her, she just talked about it publicly so that the "truth" will come out.

She also cleared that the reaction vlog she did with Wil for their house some weeks ago was just "late upload."

Alodia wants the public to respect their privacy.

"I just don't really want to talk about it... I mean parang medyo na o-off ako when people talk about my personal life online... Hanggang dun lang tayo."

The 33-year-old model assured: "Things will get better naman."

"Things happen for a reason. Same with my personal life. Things are not meant to be."

More than anything, she remains positive, pointing out that there are lots of things to look forward to.

She also reiterated the rumors that they broke up because of not giving each other enough time.

Alodia said that despite that she's busy, she knows how to balance her career and personal life.

So why still not settle down?

She answered: "I know time flies. Ayokong magkamali ng decision. Until mahanap yung tamang tao. The right person, at the right time."

Note that Alodia and Wil first revealed their relationship in 2018.

However, Alodia surprised their fans with the news that they're no longer a couple.

"To those asking, wala na kame. It's been a while. We tried to work things out many times but some things are not meant to be. I hope you respect our privacy during this time in our lives," her post read.

Then on her livestream, she cleared the announcement is not a "prank."

"Sa mga nagtatanong pala, kasi may mga nagsasabi, 'Is it a prank?' to be honest, I don't normally do pranks and wala pa akong time to make like yung mga ganung types of videos kasi po very busy 'yung day ko. I, like, have meetings kasi and I also manage Tier One behind the scenes, so may mga business meetings. I manage gaming streams, the company, and branded contents, so 'yung mga ano... No, hindi po ito prank. I wish it were, but no."

She continued: "Thanks you, guys, for the support. Don't worry, I'm okay. Pero nagulat po ako bakit po tayo trending sa Twitter. Hindi ko po ine-expect 'yun. Gusto ko lang po kasi to be honest, it's been a while and I just really want everyone to know the truth."

"I'm not sad. Happy na lang tayo. Things happen for a reason, so okay lang. 'Stay strong,' yes, thank you, guys, for all the support.

"I'm seeing a lot of kind words. Pero I really don't wanna talk about it. I'm not the type kasi to talk about my personal life. Hindi po ako 'yung vlogger na nagpo-post masyado ng drama or whatever.

"I usually post about work, cosplay, gaming, the company Tier One, Blacklist International, and mga highlights ng games. Pero personal life, ayaw ko po talaga. And for the past videos, I don't monetize the videos. I mean, it's just there for me to document. Like, ako kasi, mabilis akong makalimot ng stuff, so it's just a diary for myself."
