Cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms may affect some parts of Southern Luzon due to the shear line or tail-end of frontal system, the state weather bureau said Thursday, Nov. 11.

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said the tail-end of frontal system would continue to affect the eastern section of Southern Luzon.

On the other hand, the state weather agency noted that the Northeast Monsoon or “amihan” would be affecting the rest of Luzon.

Cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms may affect Cagayan, Isabela, Albay, Sorsogon, Masbate, Catanduanes, and Samar Provinces due to the shear line and the easterlies.

State meteorologists warned against possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains.

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms may be experienced over Mindanao, Palawan, and the rest of Visayas due to localized thunderstorms.

Aurora and the rest of Cagayan Valley may have cloudy skies with light rains, while Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon may have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to Amihan.
