Aided by the narcotics detection dogs “Jack” and “Jango”, the PDEA team conducted an inspection of the parcels around 7 p.m. after representatives from the courier company sought for help as they suspected that the packages contained illegal items.

During the inspection, the PDEA agents discovered around 2.7 kilos of dried marijuana leaves and seeds which were concealed in the parcels.

The PDEA said that the parcels were connected to a buy-bust operation it conducted last Wednesday in General Mariano Alvarez (GMA), Cavite where six kilograms of dried marijuana leaves were also confiscated by the authorities.
