A fire razed houses in a residential area in Brgy. Upper Bicutan, Taguig Wednesday afternoon.
According to the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP)-Taguig, the fire affected 30 families in Sitio Sagingan.
The fire started on the second floor of a house owned by Melaila Requinala at about 2:22 p.m. and spread to other homes.
Firefighters raised the first alarm at 2:31 p.m. followed by a second alarm at 2:35 p.m.
City Fire Director Supt. Bernard Rosete declared the fire under control at 4:05 p.m. before it was put out at 5:20 p.m.
About 100 individuals were affected in the fire which damaged properties worth P350,000. No casualties or injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
According to BFP-Taguig, 47 fire trucks from Taguig and other local government units and three ambulances responded to the incident.
