In a pastoral letter, Taytay, Palawan Bishop Broderick Pabillo said that death can no longer sever the connection that has been established with them.

He explained the faithful have always expressed their continued relation to the departed by visiting the graves of their loved ones and offering prayers. Although it's been two years since cemeteries were opened during the month of November, prayers remain to pour out for them.

Pabillo added that another way of showing this is by attending masses and offering prayers at home as a family.

The Catholic leader urged the faithful to attend masses next month. He mentioned that praying for the departed is a sign of love and hope that they will all be reunited one day.
