Industries’ IT-based institution partner recognized

An IT-based educational firm has been recognized for spearheading innovative, technology-focused, and industry-relevant programs for the needs of domestic industries.

Makati-based iACADEMY bagged the Learning and Development Organization of the Year (Academe) at the recent 5th Gawad Maestro Awards organized by the Philippine Society for Talent Development.

iAcademy was lauded for aligning its curriculum and projects with the thrust of the country's educational reform.

The Gawad Maestro Awards seeks to recognize outstanding individuals and organizations that have demonstrated leadership and creativity in improving organizational performance through learning and development.

Known for pioneering specialized programs in senior high school and college, the school is also recognized for its excellent response to provide educational continuity and options for non-traditional learning setups despite the challenges of the global pandemic.

On the onset of the pandemic, iACADEMY was quick to provide resources for remote education for both its employees (teaching and non-teaching staff), and students to ensure creative and innovative solutions are put in place to maintain the quality of education iACADEMY has promised since its inception in 2002.

"This fills our hearts and makes us even more driven to do more, do better, and continue our mandate, and deliver quality specialized courses that will continue to change the game in the academe. Our sights are set on outperforming our efforts in delivering exceptional value to our students and to the community that they will choose to serve in order to contribute positive change," said Raquel Perez-Wong, chief marketing officer of iACADEMY, during her acceptance speech.

To date, iACADEMY has collaborated and partnered with over 200 industry leaders, institutions, and organizations to strengthen its ties in the country and equip its graduates to adapt to the competitive environment of the global community.
