Mayor Imelda Aguilar said the University of Perpetual Help System-Dalta (UPHSD) gym will be used by the city government as a pediatric vaccination site on Oct. 27 since it has a bigger space to accommodate more vaccinees and also has its own hospital.

The school gym was added to the existing vaccination site earlier identified by the city government — the Las Piñas General Hospital and Satellite Trauma Center where the vaccination roll out of pediatric with comorbidities (A3) was held on Oct. 22.

Aguilar said the city government is also eyeing to conduct vaccinations in malls around the city that are located near hospitals.

She said they have already identified four malls where they could conduct pediatric vaccination.

The city government is eyeing to inoculate 200 to 300 children per day against COVID-19.

The mayor said the city decided to convert malls into pediatric vaccination sites for easy access.
