The scheme will be implemented in all public and private cemeteries and columbariums in the city in accordance with Metropolitan Manila Development Authority’s (MMDA) Resolution No. 21-22, s. 2021 and Pasig’s EO No. 81, s. 2021, ordering the temporary closure of all public and private cemeteries, memorial parks, and columbaries in the city starting on Oct. 29 to Nov. 2.

The LGU said the Barangay Coding Scheme aims to give all residents of the city the chance to visit their dearly departed while maintaining health and safety protocols.

It added that the schedule of barangays can be found in its official Facebook page: All visitors are required to bring their PasigPass QR codes and proof residency (ID containing the visitor’s address, Barangay Certificate, etc.).
