The Department of Health (DOH) has allowed the administration of booster shots on medical frontliners and the elderly as it put the country under low-risk classification for the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

Focus has also shifted to the vaccination of children with nearly 10, 000 already inoculated, while DOH has also announced the recommended booster shots for those who already have full vaccination.

Gasoline prices are also set to go up by P1.15, and diesel prices by 45 centavos, but the effects of the latest fuel price hike was quickly tamed by the announcement that the government has already approved a P1-billion fuel subsidy for the benefit of public utility drivers.

All these, and many more reports, are on our list of top stories this busy Monday afternoon, October 25, 2021.
