Those wanting to visit the cemeteries in Cainta only have three days from October 26, Tuesday, before the local government unit (LGU) of Cainta closes all private and public cemeteries in the town from Oct. 29 to Nov. 2.

The office of Mayor Johnielle Keith Pasion Nieto, in an advisory posted on the LGU’s official Faccebook page, announced that all cemeteries in the municipality will be closed to visitors for four days as part of the health and safety protocols being implemented by the municipal government to prevent the spread of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

Ealier, the Diocesan Shrine and Parish of the Our Lady of Light, also announced that the Cainta Catholic Cemetery will be closed from Oct. 29 to Nov. 2.

The town has three cemeteries — the Cainta Public Cemetery, Cainta Catholic Cemetery, and the Garden of Peace Memorial Park.
