Parts of Antipolo City to go waterless

Manila Water customers in three areas in Antipolo City will have no water for at least six hours on Friday, Oct. 22.

From 10 p.m. on Oct. 22, Friday, the water interruption will affect customers in Louiseville Subdivision and Maria Corazon Subdivision, both in Barangay Cupang; and in Sitio Manalite in Barangay Bagong Nayon, all in Antipolo City.

The water service interruption, which will last until 4 a.m. on Oct. 23, Saturday, is due to the line maintenance works in the affected areas.

In its Facebook page, Manila Water is advising residents in the affected areas to store enough water to supply their needs during the scheduled improvement activity.

Residents are also encouraged to conduct flushing by allowing the water to flow out for a few minutes until the water becomes clear as soon as the water service is restored.
