The Teresa, Rizal local government unit (LGU) has set its guidelines in connection with the observance of All Saint’s Day and All Soul’s Day by scheduling the visits to cemeteries on a per barangay basis starting Thursday, October 21, 2021.
Based on Sangguniang Bayan Resolution No. 99, Series of 2021, those going to cemeteries in the municipality are enjoined to follow the set of schedule to ensure that minimum health standards are observed.
Here is the schedule for visiting cemeteries in Teresa, Rizal: October 21, 24 and 27: Barangays Prinza, Bagumbayan, San Roque and non-residents of Teresa October 22, 25 and 28: Barangays San Gabriel, Dalig, Poblacion and non-residents of Teresa October 23, 26, and 29: Barangays Calumpang/Sto. Cristo, Dulumbayan, May-Iba All the three cemeteries in Teresa, namely Teresa Municipal Cemetery, Saint Rose of Lima Catholic Cemetery, and Forever Lasting Gardens Incorporated shall be closed from October 30 until November 4, 2021.
The municipal government announced on its Facebook page that the cemeteries are open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. only from October 21 up to October 29 and that only 18 years old or above who are fully or partially vaccinated will be allowed to enter the cemeteries.
The LGU is also prohibiting family gatherings inside cemeteries with only a maximum of three persons allowed per tomb.
Tents are not allowed to be set-up in cemeteries.
Vaccination cards are required before one can enter the cemetery.
The wearing of face masks and face shields will be strictly enforced by authorities.
