Quezon Memorial Circle opens for minors ages 17 below

The Quezon City government on Wednesday, Oct. 20, announced that minors aged 17 and below are now allowed to visit the Quezon Memorial Circle.

This, after the Metro Manila Council (MMC) approved travel and outdoor activities for the said age group on Oct. 19.

The city government said minors are only allowed to enter the park as long as they are accompanied by their parents or guardians.

Following the guidelines under the relaxed Alert level 3, the park can only accommodate 30 percent of its maximum capacity.

The approval of MMC allows the minors to utilize public vehicles and visit open areas to do essential activities, regardless of co-morbidities and vaccination status, given that they are accompanied by parents or guardians.
