Even before the teams set their feet into the Land of Dawn, the MPL Philippines Season 8 casters already provided the fans an explosive start to the playoffs with their witty rhymes and fiery bars in a rap battle.
In a video posted on Mobile Legends: Bang Bang YouTube channel and MPL Philippines Facebook page, MPL chillax host Mara Aquino joined the casters as they engaged in a play of words and rhymes and threw the best bars and puns to hype their respective assigned teams.
Casters Manjean, Butters, Naisou, OSX, Uomi and Leo all displayed their inner Gloc-9 and Eminem personas which left the fans fired up for the upcoming matches between the six remaining teams.
“Uomi did the best. Pero grabe casters, walang off-key. Kudos songerist,” one Twitter user said.

MPL playoffs begins on Thursday with Nexplay Evos taking on RSG Philippines and Omega Esports battling it out against ECHO in a do-or-die Best-of-five play-in match. Winners of the matches will get the chance to challenge the top two teams Onic Philippines and defending champion Blacklist International in the upper bracket playoffs.
