Catriona Gray wore the most stunning looks at Miss South Africa 2021

It is an understatement to say that the recently concluded Miss South Africa 2021 is a true celebration of beauty. Apart from the stunning women who walked its stage, Miss Universe winners from its past editions also came to show support as the country crowns its new queens. One of those beauties is our very own Catriona Gray, Miss Universe 2018.

After judging the national pageant in 2019, Catriona came back to South Africa to host the pageant’s backstage happenings alongside fellow Miss Universe, Zozibini Tunzi. And being a champion of style, Catriona brought her fashion A-game, wearing jaw-dropping pieces crafted by Filipino and international designers.

For a day in Capetown, Catriona matched its vibrant buildings by wearing pieces from Yong Davalos’ “Destino” collection styled with an Aranaz handbag.

The beauty queen famous for her lava walk channeled next-level fierceness with a print ensemble by Cheetah Rivera and adorned with Arnel Papa accessories.

Catriona dived into South Africa’s finest eats and drinks wearing a Cotabato Ikat skirt by Niño Franco and Ia’s Threads’ Kiana Blue minaudière.

The “Love Language” singer looked ethereal and ultra-feminine in a pink Manny Halasan dress with a sweetheart neckline, flounced skirt, and ribbon straps. Adding to the charm of the ensemble were Farah Abu’s jellyfish earrings.

Catriona met the reigning Miss Universe, Andrea Meza, wearing another Manny Halasan piece. This time, it was a halter, skin-revealing, animal print dress in monochrome.

On the pageant’s big night, Catriona donned a peplum dress with brushstrokes print by Cheetah Rivera and a stunning emerald couture dress with botanical details by Biji, the maison behind Zozibini’s iconic Miss Universe dresses.
