The number of new coronavirus disease (COVID-19) cases continued to go down, the Department of Health (DOH) said it was ramping up vaccination in places outside Metro Manila, and 720,000 doses of the Russian-made Sputnik V vaccine arrived, bolstering the government’s inventory of coronavirus vaccines.

In another major triumph in the war on illegal drugs, authorities were able to seize P1.65-billion worth of shabu in Cavite.
