Over 283,000 individuals now fully vaccinated in Muntinlupa vs COVID-19


More than 283,000 people in Muntinlupa are now fully vaccinated against the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

As of Oct. 14, according to the Muntinlupa City Health Office, a total of 283,445 individuals have received their full dose of the vaccine consisting of 279,839 inoculated by the city government and 3,606 in private companies in the city.

The total represents 73.5 percent of the target population of 385,725, which is 70 percent of Muntinlupa’s estimated population of 551,036.

A total of 102,280 individuals need to be vaccinated to complete the target population.

In addition, 341,214 individuals have received the first dose in Muntinlupa, or 88.5 percent of the target population.

By vaccine brand for the 283,445 who are fully vaccinated, 166,967 (58.91 percent) received Sinovac Life Sciences’ CoronaVac; 32,923 (12.67 percent) got AstraZeneca; 3,817 (1.34 percent) were administered Sputnik V; 39,456 (13.92 percent) received Pfizer-BioNTech; 35,603 (12.56 percent) got Moderna; and 1,679 (0.6 percent) got Sinopharm.

By priority group, 111,485 individuals belonging to A4 (essential workers) are now fully vaccinated followed by A3 (persons with comorbidities), 75,276; A5 (indigent population), 57,643; A2 (senior citizens), 27,074; and A1 (health workers), 11,967.

Of the 341,214 individuals who received the first dose, 181,297 got CoronaVac; 64,622 were administered AstraZeneca; 3,879 were inoculated with Sputnik V; 46,238 with Pfizer-BioNTech; 39,059 with Moderna; 4,359 with Janssen; and 1,760 with Sinopharm.

The Muntinlupa City government continues the registration of 12 to 17-year-olds for vaccination. As of Oct. 12, 13,110 minors have registered in Muntinlupa or 24 percent of the total 12-17 population of 55,391.

The national government rolled out the vaccination of minors Friday starting with 15 to 17-year-olds.
