Pasay buy-bust nets 4 drug suspects, P2.7-M shabu


Police arrested four drug suspects who yielded more than P2.7 million worth of shabu in a buy-bust operation in Pasay City Monday afternoon.

Police identified the suspects as Rohamen Guialal Usman, 24; Salik Rowel Gomez, 33; Joemar Layan Balawag, 27; and Sheikh Abdulrauf Guialani, 18.

The suspects are now detained at the Pasay City custodial facility. They were charged for violation of Republic Act 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2001.

Col. Cesar Paday-os, Pasay City police chief, said the suspects were arrested at about 3:00 p.m. on Monday on Seaside Boulevard at MOA Complex, Pasay City.

Paday-os said the police team confiscated from the suspects 400 grams of shabu amounting to more than P2.7 million placed in a paper bag.

Also seized from the suspects were assorted identification cards and four cellphones.

National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) director Maj. Gen. Vicente Danao commended the operatives for the arrest of the suspects.
