MPTC creates non-toll related business unit

Metro Pacific Tollways Corporation (MPTC), the country's largest tollway developer and operator launched a spinoff unit, MPT Mobility, to house all of its non-toll related enterprises, on Oct. 14, 2021.

MPT Mobility, which will soon go online, is a conglomeration of seven new business units offering digital solutions for work management, manufacturing, other products and services.

These include Dibz, a smart parking services group that offers pre-booked parking, valet services, parking management and Dibz Shop, Spot On Advertising which provides the business community with OOH (out of home) advertising opportunities, NLEX Drive & Dine, a toll service facility (TSF) hosting fast foods, full dining restaurants and drive-through dining, one-stop shops for local merchandise and delicacies, premium brand stores and discount outlets, plue fuel stations.

Southbend Express Services Inc. caters to toll road operations, water services, and others. MPT Mobility's innovation and diversification unit, Business Development, focuses more on developing digital technology projects while Easytrip Services Corporation is an account management company that manages Metro Pacific Tollway’s electronic toll collection system.

One Hub is MPT Mobility’s Centralized Customer Response Organization that responds to service concerns in all the digital touchpoints of MPTC.

“Digitalization is inevitable. We needed to be at the forefront of leveraging its adoption and transcend our core tollways business using the latest digital technology,” says MPT Mobility President and General Manager Raul Ignacio.
