Forty-three persons are vying for local elective positions — from governor to members of the Provincial Board and House of Representative — in Rizal Province in next year’s elections. The figure does not include candidates for mayor, vice mayor, and Sangguniang Bayan/Sangguniang Panlungsod.
The office of Commission on Elections (Comelec) Rizal said six individuals filed their Certificates of Candidacy (COCs) for governor, and four others for vice governor.
