Timmy Albert reminisces about bad breakup with comeback single 'TOTGA'

Timmy Albert

As he was reminiscing about a bad breakup he has experienced, Timmy wrote TOTGA which stands for The One That Got Away. This melancholic and bittersweet song puts this Filipino slang term in perspective.

The song describes the appreciation of the time and memories created between two lovers despite an abrupt ending. This song reflects the transitions of strangers to friends - friends to lovers - and strangers again.

After a few years, Timmy was already able to put this song together and is ready to share this with the whole world as his comeback single.

After almost a year, following the release of his “Distanced” EP, Timmy is back with a treat to his fans. Timmy shared how great It feels to be back releasing music after a break within the pandemic. “I’m really excited about what’s to come with Universal Records. I worked hard to get to this position, and I’m ready to keep making music with all these talented people on the label.”
