Britney Spears thanks #Free Britney movement, fans

“My fans are the best and I know it…”

Britney Spears took to social media to thank her fans for supporting her through her personal ordeal of the past few months.

Spears, who recently gained a breakthrough in her fight to gain control of her personal affairs and finances when a judge suspended her father Jamie Spears from her conservatorship, posted a message on Twitter, early morning October 5th.

Britney tweeted: “#FreeBritney movement…I have no words…because of you guys and your constant resilience in freeing me from my conservatorship…my life is now in that direction!!!”

Britney posted the tweet with an accompanying video of her outside with the Kanye West track “Fade” playing in the background.

The “Oops I Did It Again” singer added, “I cried last night for two hours cause my fans are the best and I know it…”

In a separate tweet, Britney also said, “I feel your hearts and you feel mine…that much I know is true.”

The #FreeBritney movement has been key in giving support for the singer and gave observers and Britney fans from all over the world updates about Britney Spears’ fight to end her conservatorship. The hashtag has become a rallying point used by fans and fellow artists alike to show their support for the 39-year-old singer.

#FreeBritney supporters were outside of the courthouse cheering on when a judge favored removing Britney’s father from her conservatorship.  A follow-up hearing is set on November 12 to consider the full termination of the conservatorship that has been supervising aspects of the singer’s life since 2008.
