Gabriela Rep. Arlene Brosas vowed to continue championing the rights and welfare of women if elected anew.

There’s no reason for women to stay silent so we will continue to participate in the elections). [We] vow to continue championing the rights and welfare of marginalized women in Congress and to strongly push for a health-based pandemic response,” Brosas said.

We will continue to provide services to the victims of abuse while continuing to push for bills that will protect women and children),” she added.

Brosas also vowed to push for mass testing and paid pandemic leave for workers, increased benefits for health workers, and cash assistance to families affected by COVID-19 pandemic.

The partylist group won its first seat in Congress in 2004.
