The 2021 The Fact Music Awards ceremony was held on Oct. 2 at the Paradise Hotel and Resort in Jung-gu, Incheon in South Korea.
Hosted by The Fact media outlet and Fan N Star, the ceremony had Shin Dong Yup and Seohyun of Girls’ Generation as emcees while Boom took charge of the red carpet event.
Due to the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic, strict social distancing rules were implemented. On the red carpet ceremony, all performers wore masks and the number of onsite staff was minimized and state-of-the-art filming equipment was used. Quarantine gates were installed at all entrances and exits of the performance hall to check body temperature and disinfect visitors, according to The Fact.
For the criteria, the music and album scores were based on Gaon Music chart data while the judges were editor Park Soon-gyu, composer Park Geun-tae, composer Cho Young-soo and former producer Ryan.
