City spokesperson Dr. Casimiro ā€œJunjunā€ Ynares, III, in a post on the official Facebook page of Mayor Andrea Ynares, revealed that the COVID-19 positive woman from Marikina recently gave birth at the Antipolo Hospital System-Annex 3 but the newborn baby tested positive too.

Prior to her giving birth at the Antipolo hospital, the woman was taken to the Oplan Kalinga Isolation Facility in Baras, Rizal but due to her delicate condition, she was fetched by the city health personnel and taken to the Antipolo hospital.

Ynares said the city government has been closely monitoring the mother and her baby due to their health condition.
